Nelle immediate vicinanze troverete numerose taverne e ristoranti che offrono una vasta scelta di invitanti piatti tradizionali e internazionali. I negozi lungo il lungomare del porto propongono molti souvenir e idee regalo da acquistare. In alternativa, potrete visitare alcune delle nostre gallerie d’arte e dei nostri musei. Tutto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla Pensione Alkionides. E una vacanza sulla nostra splendida isola non sarebbe completa senza un bagno nelle acque cristalline di una delle incontaminate spiagge di Hydra. I caicchi effettuano regolarmente escursioni dal porto alle spiagge situate all’estremità dell’isola, per chi desidera esplorare qualcosa di più.

This was a great basic place to come rest, take a shower, have privacy. Very private and quiet.

Located just a few steps away from the port so it's in a quieter location with wonderful little restaurants tucked around the corners. The owners are very kind and patient and helpful with any questions or needs that you may have. Hydra is such a truly enchanting place and this the perfect place to stay, especially in the spacious room with the terrace... enjoy your coffee and breakfast in the morning, read a book in the afternoon sun in the afternoon and then, wine and snacks in the evening! Definitely worth spending a little more if you are able.

Delightful hosts. Alkionides was well located in central Hydra and near to great restaurants, shopping and the port. The sounds of donkeys braying is a great alternative to noisy tooting traffic.

"Amazing stay in beautiful Hydra"

The room was 3 min walk from the port, close to shops, restaurants and a cool outdoor cinema. It was very clean and quiet. The room was supplied with coffee and milk. The host was very kind to us.

Cleanliness, staff, courtyard area, breakfasts. The "Lady of the house" was absolutely excellent, always helpful and spoke great English.

This was our second stay at Alkionides (the first was in 2021). The hotel is very well located, an easy walk up from the port in a quiet spot close to everything. Our room was clean and bright, just off the main patio/courtyard where a generous breakfast is served. Stella gives the place a personal touch and again made sure we were comfortable and lacked for nothing. Highly recommended.

Great location. Amazing hospitality. So close to the harbour and all the boats to the beach. The owner was so helpful and makes you feel welcome. Will 100% recommend! Room was so clean and free bottles of water every day was so kind. Hydra is a special place.
