Cleanliness, staff, courtyard area, breakfasts. The "Lady of the house" was absolutely excellent, always helpful and spoke great English.

Great location. Amazing hospitality. So close to the harbour and all the boats to the beach. The owner was so helpful and makes you feel welcome. Will 100% recommend! Room was so clean and free bottles of water every day was so kind. Hydra is a special place.

Delightful hosts. Alkionides was well located in central Hydra and near to great restaurants, shopping and the port. The sounds of donkeys braying is a great alternative to noisy tooting traffic.

The room was 3 min walk from the port, close to shops, restaurants and a cool outdoor cinema. It was very clean and quiet. The room was supplied with coffee and milk. The host was very kind to us.

A fabulous pension tucked away very close to the harbour down a quiet alley. Stella and her staff are lovely and very well informed about what to see, where to go, and what's going in Ydra. The courtyard is ideal for hanging about and deciding what or if you'll be doing anything that day. Peaceful, shaded, and comfy. Stella was extremely accommodating with regards to our check out being several hours before our ferry departed - they left one room open so that we could use the loo while we awaited our departure. Wifi was terrific. Everyone made us feel very welcome; we appreciated it.

This was our second stay at Alkionides (the first was in 2021). The hotel is very well located, an easy walk up from the port in a quiet spot close to everything. Our room was clean and bright, just off the main patio/courtyard where a generous breakfast is served. Stella gives the place a personal touch and again made sure we were comfortable and lacked for nothing. Highly recommended.

Staying in Alyonides values and contributes to enjoy your holidays in Hydra. The location is perfect, everything you need is around. The room was clean and tidy, the owners warm and friendly.

Very well located, a few minutes from the port and bars and restaurants, however far from the noise. Nice room, very clean. Daily cleaning of the room with fresh towels, bed linen. Also daily water and coffee refill. Very good value for money.
