The shops along the harbour front have many holiday mementos and gift ideas for you to buy or you can visit some of our art galleries and museums. Everything is within easy walking distance from the Alkionides Pension. And a holiday on our beautiful island wouldn't be complete without a swim in the crystal clear sea off one of the unspoiled beaches of Hydra. Caiques make regular trips from the harbour to the beaches at the end of the island for those who want to explore a bit further.

A very comfortable and well appointed room with an amazing private terrace that was almost as large as the room! The property is a short walk from the Ferry port and steps to great shops, restaurants and bars.

Very well located, a few minutes from the port and bars and restaurants, however far from the noise. Nice room, very clean. Daily cleaning of the room with fresh towels, bed linen. Also daily water and coffee refill. Very good value for money.

A fabulous pension tucked away very close to the harbour down a quiet alley. Stella and her staff are lovely and very well informed about what to see, where to go, and what's going in Ydra. The courtyard is ideal for hanging about and deciding what or if you'll be doing anything that day. Peaceful, shaded, and comfy. Stella was extremely accommodating with regards to our check out being several hours before our ferry departed - they left one room open so that we could use the loo while we awaited our departure. Wifi was terrific. Everyone made us feel very welcome; we appreciated it.

Cleanliness, staff, courtyard area, breakfasts. The "Lady of the house" was absolutely excellent, always helpful and spoke great English.
"Relaxing and Peaceful Stay"
Located just a few steps away from the port so it's in a quieter location with wonderful little restaurants tucked around the corners. The owners are very kind and patient and helpful with any questions or needs that you may have. Hydra is such a truly enchanting place and this the perfect place to stay, especially in the spacious room with the terrace... enjoy your coffee and breakfast in the morning, read a book in the afternoon sun in the afternoon and then, wine and snacks in the evening! Definitely worth spending a little more if you are able.

This was a great basic place to come rest, take a shower, have privacy. Very private and quiet.
